Circus clown Joe Higgins is discovered by a renowned talent agent who offers him the promise of fame and wealth. Joe agrees, but only if his fiancée Daisy and her parents can join him. Before long, Joe is appearing on the city’s grandest stages, captivating audiences night after night. However, life in the spotlight soon proves far less magical than it first appears.
